CrewCheck Privacy Policy

CrewCheck is an iOS app published by Veylor Studio Limited (NZ company number 8572067), trading as Veylor Studio, based in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what information the CrewCheck app handles. We follow the Privacy Act 2020. Our general Privacy Policy covers this website and contacting us.

Your checklists, notes, settings and flight details are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. They are not sent to us. CrewCheck has no account and no sign-up.

CrewCheck does not use analytics, advertising, trackers or crash reporting.

CrewCheck Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your payment details.

We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and transaction records, and basic device and app information such as the device model, iOS version and app version. It does not receive your checklists or notes. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

iCloud Sync is coming soon. If it is added, your data would sync through your own iCloud account, under Apple's terms, and would not pass through our servers. We will update this policy before it is released.

Because your data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. To cancel a subscription, use your App Store account settings.

CrewCheck is a tool for flight crew and is not directed at children.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see any personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. As the app keeps your data on your device, we usually hold none. Contact us at veylor.studio/contact. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated below.

For any question about CrewCheck and your privacy, contact us at veylor.studio/contact.
